Live Music Fridays: Brett Cassidy

Live Music Fridays: Brett Cassidy

Live Music Fridays at Best of Kin Social!

Featuring: Brett Cassidy

Brett Cassidy is a Calgary, AB-based multi-instrumentalist that has spent the past decade honing his songcraft as part of a bevy of bands, playing folk, country, indie, and rock music across Canada. Now, for the first time, he has stepped out from the comfort of the background with guitar, and sometimes banjo in tow, to play solo songs that combine his favourite bits of all those genres. Drawing as much inspiration from traditional American folk and country music as he does from psychedelic drones, Cassidy's songs create a space for those forgotten in time to stomp their feet alongside a suitcase kick drum. You can often catch him weaving heartbroken cowboy songs of yesteryear from the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Marty Robbins, and Hank Williams into his set.

Hop Yoga with Tracy

To register, visit the link above and find “Pre-Brunch Hop Yoga” under Tracy’s list of classes.

Sunday Slow & Soulful

Roll out of bed, toss on your comfiest layers, and let’s get stretching and moving—just enough to feel flexible, grounded, some release and a little glowy (yes, that kind of sweat). This 45-minute class is your pre-brunch treat: half flow, half chill, all feel-good vibes.

Tracy breaks down postures so you feel safe and confident, whether you're brand new to yoga, coming back from a break, or just vibing with a slower groove. The playlist? Think of mellow beats, juicy soul, and a sprinkle of energy to match your breath and mood.

Winter’s coming, and we’re heading into it strong, steady, and smiling.

THIS CLASS IS FREE - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

What’s included:
- your 45-minute class with Tracy
- BoK beer samples
-10% off of brunch, if you wish to stay (+ happy hour begins at 11am with $6 rotating BoK beers + mimosas!)
